THE POWER OF INTENTION
I am quite amazed whenever I look back and see how far I've come: where I am at, what I have, what I'm doing, what resources are at hand. Most (if not all) of my desires and intentions have come to pass, and I have lived where I wanted to, seen what I've dreamt of, grasped what I have wanted to hold. They all started from a thought, a wish, a desire, an intention at the back of my mind. Unexplainably, Life in its genius, has developed an intrinsic mechanism of how things work from the nuclei scale out into the massive extent of possibilities of the external realm. A simple thought like, "I want to drink water" can be carried out in countless different ways, but the end result almost always satisfies the given proposal of intent.
What are you doing right now? What do you have, where are you, what do you hope to do, WHO ARE YOU? Every moment, every single day, your intentions are carried out, and all the forces of Life conspire to assist you according to the Master Plan. BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP AND DO IT. Clearly, we do get what we think we deserve. Good or bad, your intentions are seeds planted by The Creator in the hope that one day, if you remain faithful to it and work on it, it will grow to be the beanstalk that takes you to the heights of heaven, to treasures overflowing, to a life worth living, to your true inner SELF.
THE POWER OF NOW
I am sitting here at home on my day off after doing my grocery shopping for the week, lunch, workout and swim, and concurrently doing my laundry. I got restless at some point in between those activities not knowing how to spend the day, what to do, where to go. Then came NOW. I can write. I can sketch. I can daydream. I can think. I can be who I want to be. I do not breathe to live for yesterday nor hope to do so for tomorrow. This life giving ability is afforded to me at this very moment, this is all I have, this is all there is! I have food to eat, clothes to wear, a roof above my head, and I am alive and well. What else do I need to do? Many times, I find myself trading the basics for the complicated- asking for what is not there, buying the unnecessary, eating the excess calorie, keeping toxic relationships, working for something I am not passionate about. I am worse than a robot working at some car plant factory in a corn fed state.
Today, now, this very moment, I will use the power of my intentions to carry out that which I was born to become. I will listen and follow the purest desires of my heart. I will not be afraid to be who I really am anymore. IT'S TIME TO BE ME.
Ten steps back into my inner core, my dreamworld, my wishing well, my prayer mountain, MY ETERNAL SOUL. There is Light in this place, and as it shines, it brings a comfort and a peace that lead to tears of pure joy, hope, love, and the assurance that everything will be all right all ways. I am energized. I am inspired. I am thankful to be alive RIGHT NOW. I am not here to get by, and to wait for the best to come. I was born to live life to its fullest, to make the best of the worst, to press on ever towards the goal and win the prize.
God leads us as he waits at the other end of the rainbow.
