A decade after the millenium went by scary fast. Are you still looking for the same things you sought for then?
If there is one thing that is certain, it is this: WE WILL ALL DIE ONE DAY. This body has limits, but at its core is a heart and soul that does not fully comprehend and know where it came from, where it will go to. All it knows is that it can choose to believe that it won't be that bad since it came into existence without being asked or invited to. SOMEONE else was responsible for creating and destroying all things he/she has made.
Why are we here then? If our infinite past and our eternal future remain a mystery, then what are we living this life for? We open our eyes each morning so we can realize who we are, what our souls can do and become, what our hearts can feel and relate to. Our upbringing has somehow redirected us from our true purpose and meaning in life. We are failing to reach our fullest potential.
(It's been ten years since the millenium.)
Today, I am more sure of the things I really want to pursue, what I really love to do, who I really can become and be loved for, and for these I am grateful. Life can now be more than just waking up and going to bed, it is about living my true passions, my rational imaginative mind, my flexible creative hands, my audible resonant voice. I can be Me, and I can experience this privilege of being born into this existence. I can unite with The One who took me from all of yesterday, and bring me to everything that is tomorrow.
May God guide us each day with his love, his wisdom, his plans, and his very intention of why he created us to be here.
Ten years after the millenium and beyond.

I think the most awesome thing about being in the fold is freedom. Not just from the bondage of our past but from the limitations of our mortality. Here's to eternity, where time is immaterial!
amen kapatid.
