The spotlight is on the war between nations. It is gathering troops and equipment as much as it gathers paranoia, fear, and uncertainty. Don't we all go to this kind of war each day? We put on our best clothes, gather our allies and confront our enemies, struggling over attention and a higher status in society. The process of "natural selection" has become a forced one, choreographed by every living cell of pride in man. If the Middle East didn't provoke this war, or if the West is not threatened economincally by not pursuing this war, will the world finally be a peaceful place? Ask your ego. I'm sure you would not like to be the one who gets to stand on the "El" going to work.Is this war really between good and evil? Who are the good guys and who are the evil ones? In the history of mankind, there has always been a leader, a manipulator of wills, a dictator, an "antichrist," who is also a neighbor, a friend, maybe a father, a son, a fellow citizen, a human being of the same kin. We are the ones assigning the roles of good and evil to one another not because we want to play guardian or big brother before God, but because we want to be the ones who spank the bad boys and girls, and applaud those who obey us, who give us their loyalty, who make us the higher authority: a demi-God, a HYPOCRITE.

The knowledge of good and evil has become a palette where man can mix his colors and paint his own sky, grass, hills, and high towers. Man thinks he can make it on his own; man thinks he can create the world in less than seven days. Man thinks a lot, and he should not be disturbed in his planning. God thinks too, and his thoughts are not man's thoughts. His thoughts are higher, and even man's insanity cured a million times will not reach God's reading room.
Do we have to fight this war whatever kind it is? Perhaps we should for whatever lesson could be learned after the experiment, the explosions, this so-called war between good and evil. Let your stubborn will be your hard hat, and your proud heart be your vest. Wrestle before God and know what limbs will be broken. Or you can surrender in humility, accept his Grace and get a big warm hug instead. For as long as you want.
